JOB SUMMARY

This role is responsible for managing the content marketing operations, and the overall success of content marketing initiatives in GC. He or she will guide the content marketing strategy, facilitate ongoing content planning, manage day-to-day content creation, editing and promotion, and report on the results of each content marketing initiative. Working as part of the GC Marketing team, this role will effectively require a strong candidate who can work across geographies and functions including Brand, F&B operations, digital, loyalty, PR and manage multiple projects.

The job location will be in Shanghai.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field

  • At least 3 years work experience in branding / marketing, preferably with within the hospitality/F&B field

  • Exemplary writing and editing skills

  • Proficiency in key digital competencies including SEO, Web/App Analytics, project management and social media channels

  • Experience in Adobe Experience Cloud an advantage (AEM, Target, Campaign, Analytics, Workfront)

  • Experience in deriving creative/content insights from data and recommend actionable creative optimization based on results

  • Experience in collecting local requirements to support content at scale through a Digital Asset Management system

  • Proven track record in managing and executing multiple initiatives, end to end integrated 360 campaigns

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management skills, and balancing inputs from multiple stakeholders

  • Driven, innovative and highly adaptable

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design content marketing strategies with the aim of developing engaging content to attract and retain customers

  • Prepare content marketing plan and manage supporting editorial calendar and budget

  • Own GC content digital merchandising and email calendars - support area/cross continent teams to create/modify content on their merchandising calendars, highlight in seasonal/festive content in Greater China (destinations, relevant offers, new openings, etc.)

  • Manage A/B testing efforts to optimize creative, messaging and content strategies in partnership with teams across areas/disciplines

  • Utilize marketing technology tools to help define A/B testing objectives and KPI’s, continuous optimization based on data and insights (i.e Adobe Analytics, CreativeX)

  • Optimize content considering SEO and search engines

  • Partner with other marketing disciplines including media, PR, and loyalty to publish and promote content across various channels

  • Work across different teams (areas, brand, F&B, loyalty, etc.) on content creation, ensure to employ best practices on regional toolkits according to relevant platforms

  • Monitor performance and analyze key metrics to inform future efforts

  • Stay up to date on marketing trends, competitive landscape, and new digital channels and technologies

  • As needed, support the Marketing team on priority initiatives in line with the overall marketing plan and goals
