Job Summary

Responsible for managing various administrative tasks required to effectively operate the Events team operation. Must provide white glove service to event clients and attendees, ensure effective operation of event spaces, and communicate needs to event stakeholders. Responsible for collaborating with team to create, plan, and execute all aspects of a broad range of events on the Comcast Campus and a variety of offsite locations. May lend occasional support to other areas within the Campus Experience organization.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Provides white glove service hospitality to event clients via email event inquiries, scheduling, planning, and executing events of varying scales.

  • Completes diversified administrative tasks required for event coordination and team operation.

  • Creatively devises event themes, design, graphics, and registration pages

  • Leads event site-visits to gain a complete understanding of requirements for each event.

  • Closely communicates and collaborates with event stakeholders including Food Services, Security, Facilities, and A/V.

  • Collaborates with teammates to plan event timeline, activities, promotion, and design.

  • Knowledgeable of, or has the ability to, quickly learn various technology systems used for event reservations, data tracking, and virtual offerings

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance with clients and stakeholders.

  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and overtime as necessary. Willing and able to travel

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field

  • 0 – 3 years of professional work experience

  • Experience in event planning, preferred

  • Graphic design experience, preferred

  • Experience working in a team setting

  • Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking skills

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, pivot when needed, and maintain a customer-service mindset

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications

Bachelor's Degree
