Position Summary:

A sleep technician provides care for patients undergoing sleep studies and sleep disorder treatment, works under the general supervision clinical coordinator or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and out of center sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education.

Reports to: Director of Respiratory

FLSA: Non-exempt

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Work Experience Education and/or Experience Successful completion of a polysomnography program associated with a state license and/or a nationally accredited educational facility OR other Healthcare credentials AND a minimum of 6 months of experience as a Sleep Trainee with documented proficiency in all required competencies.
