Philips Global Installation Services – Team Manager dXR in Best, Netherlands

Installation Team Manager dXR will be managing & coordinating the Business installation teams in close contact with Markets, Functions and Businesses to achieve World-class Installation Performance. The Installation teams are instrumental in supporting from PDLM processes till enabling all installation models worldwide resulting in a compliant way of working directly impacting customer satisfaction.

Your role:

  • Drive and execute Global resources and tool planning for dXR and MR to support local installation models in/and together with the market and identification installation capacity bottlenecks regarding own resources pro-actively, and follow up by maintaining the installation schedule files and invoicing costs. This will be roughly 50-75% of your time spent.

  • Selection, supervision, coaching and development of installation teams to ensure an effective and efficient Installation operation.

  • Drive of installation performance, volume, quality and cost goals are met by utilizing efficient methods and maintaining appropriate staffing levels.

  • Driving continuous improvement activities to balance optimal Quality, Costs and Delivery related to sustaining and improving process yield, product design changes, cycle time improvement and Health&safety.

  • Contribution to determining priorities and action plans based on the performance data of the Installation Control Center

  • Assessment emerging installation technologies to enable the input for Design for Installations

  • Management and deployment of processes and standards with embedded quality including adherence to compliance with safety, regulatory- and environmental requirements as well as local laws, Philips General Business principles and other policies

The Global Installation Services team which is globally responsible for all installations at customer sites within Health Systems. A significant amount of these installations are executed by using installation teams based in the Businesses in Best. These resources spend 50% of their time installations on-site and 50% on support of manufacturing, development and improvement initiatives.

The Global Installation Management team consists of a highly motivated group of people with a huge variety in nationalities and backgrounds working together to drive the installation performance through continuous improvement on cost, quality and delivery.

You're the right fit if you have :

  • Ability to deliver on commitment (working to plan) and ability to manage priorities under tight deadlines

  • Is able to lead, coach and challenge team members on technical knowledge, possibly including installation managers

  • Master or bachelor degree or equivalent knowledge or experience level in Mechanical- / Electro mechanical- / Industrial- / Supply chain Engineering or related field

  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in a global installation operation with extended knowledge of the corresponding supply chain, R&D organization, Service Innovation organization, Philips training organization and technical support structures.

  • Has good understanding of finance, including product cost, budgeting, business cases, departmental costs

  • Has extended knowledge of products and services relevant for the role

  • Pro-active attitude, self-propelled and ability to pave no existing paths

  • Apply active listening skills using reflection, restatement, questioning, and clarification

  • Strong stakeholder management skills to all levels, motivate/engage people and conduct critical messages

  • Respects and values diversity of workforce on all angles

  • Responds effectively to unpredictable or unexpected events

  • Demonstrate a desire to understand Customer needs and drive for Customer satisfaction

  • Considers the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.

  • Has a strong End to End understanding of organization’s products, processes and services.

  • Ability to drive change and influence others within own organization

  • Proven diagnostic analytics and performance management skills

  • Drive for continuous improvements on people, processes and products

  • Knowledge of Lean, value stream and process management to drive improvements and to solve complex problems in an installation environment.

  • Excellent English level

  • Willingness to travel and work abroad 20% of the time
